[ROM] AceLite Beta 0.2 [12/09/12]

AceLite is a lightweight rom that has amazing performance, looks good, and barely got any bugs!

Based on Cyanogenmod 7.2

Known bugs:
- Not booting after flashing ( REBOOT YOUR PHONE! IT'S NOT BRICKED! ) ( Any help is appreciated! )
- If home button doesn't work reboot

6. Install zip from sd-card
7. Select the zip file and install it, reboot your phone and it should be working!

Functions / features that are not fully working:

1) HQ video playback (need OpenMAX libraries from Qualcomm, unfortunately, they are not going to release them)
2) Native USB tethering
3) Native Wi-Fi tethering
4) Camcorder
5) Shooting picture from camera (although preview is working)

Special Remark for Galaxy Ace: Unfortunately Galaxy Ace is the only device where camera driver in kernel is not working yet. they working hard to solve this problem.
This ROM conatins AMARULLZ DATA TO SD-EXT MOD FOR ANDROID. It automatically detects if you have an EXT3 or EXT4 partition on your SD-Card and moves data and caches to your EXT-partition. So your internal space for apps is only restricted by the size of your EXT-partition.

How to unbrick Samsung Galaxy Ace

If your phone doesn’t boot into download mode and you have a black screen after flashing froyo heres how you unbrick it, it worked for me .

Step 1 – Prepare odin with the firmware u want to flash (in my case was gingerbread 2.3.3) and get it ready to go;

Step 2 – Remove battery and connect your galaxy ace to the computer;

Step 3 – Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time;

Step 4 – Insert the battery and wait a bit;

Step 5 – At this point Odin should have detected your SG Ace ( Yellow rectangle should appear);

Step 6 – Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.

If all goes well it should come back to life.

Get the roms from sammobile site.

Be sure that you download de correct firmware for your device version.
